Sona Shah is the Founder & CEO of My Private Professor, an impact-driven, educational services company that partners with individual & institutional clients to provide a critical academic resource to thousands of students across the country & gives back with every hour to support youth in underserved communities. After graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law & practicing business litigation in Los Angeles & Orange County for many years, Sona shifted gears to launch a tutoring business that leverages innovation & social responsibility to increase access to educational support for all. From carving a niche in the employee recruitment & retention space by providing individualized tutoring as a differentiated benefit to employees & families of national & local businesses, to sponsoring essential academic support for students experiencing homelessness through partnerships with nonprofits & organizations, My Private Professor is leading the charge to inspire & empower today’s students to achieve their greatest potential & lead tomorrow’s world.
