I’m a CoreCHI-P™ certified Korean medical interpreter with over six years of experience across healthcare, community services, education, business, and non-court legal settings.Originally trained as a classical pianist, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and have taught piano for almost 30 years. As a classically trained piano teacher and active member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC), I specialize in guiding students through the Certificate of Merit (CM) program. My musical training has honed my skills in active listening, memory retention, and attention to detail — all of which directly enhance my interpreting practice.A native Korean speaker who has lived in the U.S. for over three decades, I bring deep cultural fluency and a nuanced understanding of both Korean and American norms.
