About Sophie Burch

The University of Gloucestershire supports businesses by providing Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, professional courses, consultants, academic experts and world-class facilities to employers both locally and nationally. Our Apprenticeship provision has grown rapidly over the last few years as we continue to expand the number of programmes and employer services we offer. Higher and degree apprenticeships are a great and cost-effective way of upskilling your workforce. They are an alternative to traditional university study, giving your employees the opportunity to obtain a higher qualification and learn professional skills. While apprentices benefit from increased skills and enhanced employability, employers gain from greater productivity and improved competitiveness. We offer a range of apprenticeships at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. What’s more, they can be tailored to meet your business needs. We’re already delivering apprenticeships for leading employers including Superdry, Clarkson Evans, St James’s Place Wealth Management and the NHS. The Business Engagement Team is based at The Growth Hub on our Oxstalls campus, in the new Gloucester Business School building. We work closely with academic colleagues to ensure businesses can engage across the broad range of the university business portfolio of products and services. If you would like to hear more about our Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, I’d love to hear from you.
