Background
About Stacey Matlen
I partner with some of the largest, most complex government agencies in the country to help them become more adaptive and responsive to residents' needs through new technology. At the Partnership Fund for New York City, I lead public-private innovation programs embedded inside four of North America's largest transit systems, the largest municipal water and wastewater utility in the U.S, and the nation's largest municipal building regulator, responsible for safety across 1.1 million buildings. Our team recruits and vets startups globally, then serves as an implementation partner to get promising solutions deployed at scale. Before this, I worked with the City of Detroit to connect residents with jobs and essential services through new transportation technologies, and founded a startup increasing healthy food access for residents lacking reliable transportation.
