About Stacey Nelan

My passion and expertise is equipping workplaces to successfully navigate domestic, family and sexual violence for their workforce, customers and community. As a trusted advisor in DFSV prevention, response and recovery, I am committed to working with organisations invested in their workforce to build capability, competency and confidence to create safe and respectful workplace cultures and ensure effective response to, and prevention of all forms of violence. I excel in organisational development and DEIB, driving positive workplace culture, social justice/change, gender equality, employee wellbeing/experience, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Using my professional and lived experiences, across governments and NFPs, I champion a culture for employees to be their authentic selves, to be culturally and psychologically safe, to have their voices heard, to feel valued and welcomed to contribute. Workplaces are vital to social change and how we integrate life into work, so that who we truly are isn't left at the front door each day. Organisations who embrace and commit to diversity and inclusion will attract and retain talent, increase morale, performance, profitability and lead the way in their sector. An engaging public speaker, proficient in policy and process design, passionate about co-design, collaboration and consultation, ensuring that lived experience is centred in the work and voices are amplified.
