About Staci Shaw

I am a working-class arts & events worker based in Edinburgh. Currently I work in the Sales and Welcome Team at the Traverse Theatre whilst pursuing other creative projects and roles. I have a varied background in the arts ranging from production, box office and festival work. I have developed strong communication and organisational skills throughout my work gaining 10 years of customer service experience engaging with a range of stakeholders and developing relationships. I have a strong work ethic proven to excel in busy changeable environments. I am a proactive learner who enjoys learning new skills on the job that aid me in developing my experience. I took part in the Making Work Work Edinburgh Women programme run by The Challenges Group in 2023 and received coaching from EPAD in the same year. I have an interest in people focused roles in where I can help individuals. I am drawn to work environments that encourage talent development. I am interested in working with organisations who aim to have a lasting social impact. I aspire to create and produce work that provides opportunities to those of underprivileged backgrounds with particular interest in working-class individuals.
