About Stacy Arnett

I have 14 years of experience in Analytical Pharmacology / DMPK (Distribution, Metabolism, and Pharmacokinetics) At Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, I conducted AP/DMPK experiments, generated and interpreted data, and presented results to multidisciplinary teams to make key decisions along the critical path of drug discovery projects. I was the Analytical Pharmacology / DMPK lead on over half a dozen drug discovery programs in diverse pharmacological areas (including but not limited to pain, diabetes, heart disease, CNS disorders, and GI disease). I was part of the Business Development team exploring new GI therepeutics and devices for GI indications. The team was tasked with evaluating potential partnerships, in-licencing opportunities, and identifying KOLs to leverage Ironwood's presence in the GI field. At the Center for World Health and Medicine (CWHM) at St. Louis University School of Medicine, I was focused on developing treatments for rare and neglected diseases (including but not limited to malaria, tuberculosis, childhood diarrhea, muscular dystrophy, fibrosis, and hematological cancers). I contributed to AP/DMPK efforts in all these disease areas through benchwork, in addition to other roles at CWHM including fostering/managing research collaborations, contributing to grant applications, and authoring new grant applications.
