About Stacy Hall

My career started 27 years ago fresh out of college when I took an administrative job with AARP - a large non-profit organization for the 50+. I worked through the ranks and finally landed in the Strategic Planning Department in 1997. At the time, there were only 2 of us leading the long-term planning and strategy development work of this big non-profit with 30M+ members! Eventually our role and department grew to what is now referred to as the Enterprise Strategy Group. Over the years I have had the privilege to weave in the use of visuals (planning & visioning templates, business model & value proposition canvas, history maps, mind maps and many more) to the strategy development work of AARP. I realized, after many years, my passion (and challenge at times) was illustrating complex content down to simple, easy-to-understand visuals. Visuals became a part of me; what I was known for at AARP. I began to stretch AARP further by introducing Graphic Recording and Video Scribing which at the time was foreign land for the Association. Further training with such wonderful Visual Practitioners like Crowley & Co and Shift-It Coach, Inc. helped advance my career to where I am today - the land of entrepreneurship!
