About Steff Reed

Cultural leader bridging art, spirit, and justice.” I am a purpose-driven artist and organizer using music, education, and storytelling to inspire healing, activate communities, and catalyze social change. With over 20 years of experience as a singer-songwriter, producer, teaching artist, and nonprofit leader, I bridge art, spirit, and justice. My work lives at the intersection of cultural organizing, Black radical thought, and liberation theology — rooted in love, vulnerability, and collective transformation. My work has been featured by AFROPUNK, Rolling Stone, VIBE, NPR, HuffPost, and Humans of New York. My albums — The Intervention and The Power of Love Experience— are sonic journeys through trauma, redemption, and freedom. With a Master of Arts in Social Justice from Union Theological Seminary and a background in cultural activism and organizing, I blends theory and praxis. My music has helped listeners navigate grief, breakups, illness, and rebirth — consistently described as synchronistic, empowering, and life-saving. I am a visionary leader devoted to creating spaces where people heal, rise, and remember their power."Liberatory. Visionary." – AFROPUNK
