About Steph van Dalen

I currently lead the Employee Experience Team at LATRO, championing a work environment and culture that continues to attract, develop and retain top talent. My multifaceted work experience over the last 19 years in a variety of roles and industries (6 of them at LATRO), along with my educational background in Corporate Communications and Global Studies, HR certifications, and continual growth mindset, has uniquely positioned me to develop and continue maturing LATRO's employee experience framework as our diverse global team grows. In my role, I oversee every aspect of the company's comprehensive HR function (both US and global) and employee life cycle, as well as corporate communications. My SMB industry experience spans from telecom, higher education, and study abroad/service learning to international development and healthcare, both in the U.S. and internationally (Zambia, United Arab Emirates). My varied but related mix of previous roles in business operations administrative support (including CEO executive assistant support), marketing and events prepared me well for a career shift into full-time HR in 2020. Working in US and international HR for a SMB has afforded me the opportunity to gain a wide breadth of experience and skills and also specialize further in certain areas in support of business needs and the employee experience. Having also studied internationally (England,Ecuador) and traveled to 30+ countries, I enjoy and thrive in a diverse, multicultural work environment.
