Background
About Stephanie Chen
Website https://stephaniechen.mystrikingly.com/Email steam19833@gmail.comHi! I’m a seasoned game artist with over 20 years of international experience and a passion for creating diverse and captivating game art styles. My work bridges both North American and Asian art aesthetics, allowing me to thrive in a variety of creative environments. Currently, I’m the Art Director at Lightning Rod Games, where I lead multiple Unity 3D projects. My role involves working closely with game designers and programmers, shaping the artistic vision, and managing the art team’s timeline to deliver exceptional results. Some highlights of my career include being nominated for Best Art Director by the Canadian Game Awards in 2021 (4th place) for A Fold Apart, which also won the Best Mobile Game award at the same event. I’m also proud to have led the art team at UserJoy, a Taiwan-based game development company, to win first place in the China Game Developers Award for 2D art design.
