I received my bachelor’s degree in sociology from Acadia University in Nova Scotia and then shortly after, I earned my post-graduate diploma in elementary education from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I was introduced to the world of neuroplasticity in 2011, when I took up a volunteer position at Eaton Arrowsmith Academy. My desire to continue to expand my knowledge and support this work didn't stop there, as I later became a cognitive trained teacher. I feel elated when a child succeeds at something we have worked on together. I love both the challenge and fulfillment of working at Eaton Arrowsmith Academy and watching our students' form new neural pathways. The changes that happen among our student body, thanks to work we do, is indescribable.
