My first taste of the Title business was in 2001 at a Title Company in Frisco as a temp. I began by typing Legal descriptions on Title Commitments. I’m an inquisitive person so I started reading the Deeds and asking questions. The manager there was impressed with my initiative and hired me permanently after 3 months. After 6 months I was promoted to Title Examiner. I learned very quickly and was one of the top Examiners in our office. I used my 2 years there as an opportunity to learn everything I could. In 2003 I went to another Title Company and worked there as a Title Examiner until the summer of 2006. While I was there I examined mainly Texas and California properties, however, I was experienced in about 40 other states. In November of 2006 I decided to venture out and learn the Escrow side of Title. This is when I found my passion. I was lucky enough to work for a Boss who was willing to teach me everything she knew. I started in Post Closing, which consisted of making sure all documents were signed correctly, shipping packages out and keeping up with loan packages coming in and out of the office. I worked my way to issuing Title Policies and performing a final file audit to ensure we were in compliance with TDI. In May of 2008, I was hired by First American. I’m experienced in foreclosures, relocations, real deals and refinances. I absolutely love my job and the people I work with. I adore the relationships I’ve built with agents and real estate professionals. I enjoy coming to work every single day and it shows in my work ethic. I pride myself on being available all day, night and weekends if necessary. Specialties: REOs, Refinances, Relocations, Real Deals, Construction Loans
