Background
About Stephanie Kroack
Every child deserves to grow up in a community that celebrates their uniqueness, entertains their curiosity, and nourishes their intellect. Before becoming a mom to two amazing sons, I was the owner of Indi Yoga Studios, a business I successfully ran for over a decade, eventually expanding to three locations across two states. However, my world changed when both of my boys were identified as neurodivergent, with multiple diagnoses between them. This was when I decided to step down from my business and work toward something that celebrated the idiosyncrasies and inherent gifts of neurodiverse children. I knew I needed to create a unique system that could empower, motivate, and inspire children while helping their parents comprehend and navigate through challenging times. Thus began my journey to learn as much as I could about neurological variations, leading to my specialization in neurodiversity, specifically autism, sensory processing disorder, pathological demand avoidance, oppositional defiance disorder, OCD, and ADHD. Before shifting careers, I was a certified ayurvedic practitioner, life coach, reiki master, and 500 ERYT Yoga Teacher Trainer. By combining my two decades of experience in healing the nervous system with cutting-edge technology, I established Wild Child Parenting, a platform with an aim to connect with parents of neurodiverse children and youth-serving professionals to help shift the dynamic from confusion & uncertainty to peace & growth at every developmental stage. Today, Wild Child helps struggling families with neurodiverse children find their path to peace and connection at home, in school, and in community. As a youth advocate and parent consultant, I believe in going above and beyond to make sure every member of the family feels heard, connected, and empowered through the program. With an unmatched support system that specializes in catering to the needs of each family member, I aspire to help parents understand their children and facilitate creating an atmosphere of freedom and support that allows their children to feel heard while opening a gateway to their continuous learning & development. By comprehending the obstacles faced by young minds, I envision addressing every difficulty through a holistic and energetic approach to healing.
