About Stephen George

I’m the Co-Founder & CEO of Amaze — building the identity layer for physical destinations.Shopping centers, stadiums, and mixed-use districts see millions of annual visitors, yet most leave anonymous. Unlike the internet, physical places can’t reliably identify, activate, or monetize their traffic.Amaze changes that.Through frictionless wallet-based access, we turn physical traffic into persistent, owned audiences — enabling operators to increase repeat visits, cross-tenant spend, sponsor activation revenue, and measurable lifetime value without requiring app downloads.Prior to Amaze, I was CEO of Surkus and part of the founding team at Groupon, where I focused on large-scale consumer acquisition and marketplace growth. I’ve spent 15+ years building and investing in early-stage companies at the intersection of physical commerce and digital infrastructure. My focus today is helping physical destinations operate with the intelligence and monetization power of the internet.
