About Stephen Hodge

Food has always been the vehicle for Steve Hodge, who got his first taste of ethnic cuisines and fresh seafood while spending his childhood and teen years on the west coast of Florida. It was, he realized, the perfect corner of the food world for him. After graduating from the CIA in 1986, Steve worked as an executive chef for exclusive resorts and country clubs in Florida. He has also coordinated and taught culinary apprenticeship programs and owned his own culinary consulting company specializing in staff training and controlling costs. Steve has been a National Account Manager and Corporate Chef for industry leaders such as Dawn Foods, ConAgra Foods, Cargill, and Richelieu Foods. Now he’s Director of National Accounts for Cavendish Farms Inc. In addition, to his CIA degree, Steve holds a BA in Business from Bellevue University. He has traveled to Asia, Central and South America and Europe to experience first-hand the various cuisines and cultures that influence our eating and dining habits. He is a certified executive chef with the American Culinary Federation, and a member of the Research Chefs Association. Steve is also an accomplished culinary competitor with many medals and awards in both cooking and ice carving.
