About Stephen Hussey

I have completed a Masters in History, International Relations at University College Cork. It is a masters which is assisting my research skills. I have completed a dissertation on US policy towards Korea and the Korean War. I have also completed a course in Interactive Media with University College Cork, earning a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science. As an undergraduate I complete a 3-year BA University course in English and History. As part of my Masters degree in International Relations I have completed a 2 month placement in the corporate support unit of Kerry county council. Corporate support dealt with a wide range of areas including Council and Municipal District meetings administration, support for elected members, media and media and communications. I was assigned to general clerical duties within this role. I choose History and English as my undergraduate subjects to develop my research and communication skills. In my final year of my BA I completed a dissertation in history, an independent research assignment titled "Gaelic Lordships and Border Tensions in Tudor Ireland" A summary of the conflict between Irish clans and research through the UCC archives.
