About Stephen Levac
I was born in Oshawa, Canada; but always dreamed of exploring more than just Canadian suburbs. After graduating both Bishop's University and Queen's University, I moved to Lao Cai, Vietnam, where I spent my first year teaching. When my duties were fulfilled in Vietnam, I decided to move to Hong Kong with my partner, where I have now been ever since. Living in Hong Kong allows me to have it all: extraordinary schools, great students, and many opportunities to travel. Now, I am a Secondary Drama and English teacher at DSC International School. Since living here, I have also taught grade 5. Along with this, I have coached a variety of sports teams including basketball, ball hockey, and soccer. I pride myself as a teacher who loves to incorporate technology in the classroom. Since I have worked in IT while studying at Bishop's, I have always had an interest in educational technology. My primary goal in teaching is to engage my students and make them excited to learn in a comfortable environment where everyone feels welcome. I emphasize social emotional learning in my classrooms and guarantee a safe space for all of my students.
