About Stephen Shaw

I practise as a Mediator of property and commercial disputes, and am a Panel Mediator of CEDR, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, ADR Group, TalkMediation, and Clerksroom. I am a Deputy District Judge, and also a Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in London. I trained with CEDR, and achieved their accreditation. I have since acted in many mediations, achieving settlements in the overwhelming majority of cases. I am a "Legal 500"(" Hall of Fame") and "Chambers & Partners" and Who's Who Legal, National Leading Mediator. I have been appointed to Fellowship of the Civil Mediation Council. I was a founder committee member of the Property Bar Association, and have been cited by “The Lawyer” magazine as a leading property practitioner. I have written widely on property and mediation matters, and am frequently asked to conduct seminars for solicitors and wider groups on the topic of Alternative Dispute Resolution generally.
