Hi I am Ste Walker and I am the founder of a parenting group called Solo Parents United Northwest Official UK Group on Facebook with 2k families. Please note any Solo Parents in the UK can join and access our online content. We are growing in other areas in the UK now. We now have a black and gold trademark of families climbing a mountain if you struggle to find us. I am on linked in to make people aware of our free group. I am a full-time Solo Parent to my son aged 12 and daughter aged 17. I have been doing this since my son was three years old. I am an ex children's holiday representative for Thomson and Cosmos. In my spare time I am a qualified football coach coaching academy level football to both youth ages both boys and girls. I have also done some scouting too. In my daily life I work full-time for Lancashire County Council and am now in my 21st year. I currently work with the visually impaired as a rehabilitation officer. I have life coaching qualifications and leadership qualifications in management. Please have a look at a variety of posts on my profile. I believe there is something here to support everyone. I would describe my personality as laid back and funny. My passion in life is to serve others and support as many people as I can. The reason I am on linked in is to promote our Solo Parents United Northwest Facebook group, events for the visually impaired and to connect with others, with the main aim to support them and NOT for any financial gain. I continue to deliver presentations on mental well-being, growth mindset, catching confidence toolkits for free. These presentations are FREE for all. My project is sharing my parenting tips on how I improve children's self esteem using a brand new mental health tool kit for children I have developed over the years. I am happy to present this at various locations for FREE. Please just drop me a line and I'll be happy to assist.
