About Stephen Webster

I have over 9 years in the recovery collection sector for the local authority. The main role of my position is working with external recovery companies and other local authority agencies. Through various connections I have explored updating our collections service and increasing the collected revenue for Brighton & Hove City Council. Working along side some of the premier Enforcement agencies in the UK to collect council tax, parking and business rates. Within this area, communication is imperative and ongoing. There have been several opportunities to work with external agencies at their offices and to see a variety of working practices. I have found the role highly rewarding and varied and has provided me with various insights to private collections and enabled me to compare working practices. My projects have included, increased parking revenue, laws of removal and the cost of removal.
