Candidate for the 28th State Senate District Steve has two children & three grandchildren & has learned first-hand the importance of balancing family, hard work & recreation to maintain a healthy life. He has a history of giving back to the community & would like to serve in a greater capacity by becoming your State Senator. Steve is focused & passionate about using his time and talents to help find a new normal as fast as possible post Covid-19. His family history is rooted in the guiding principles of freedom & free enterprise that founded our great nation. Since 2008, Steve has been the CEO of Dale Carnegie Training for Eastern Wisconsin & the Upper Peninsula. Dale Carnegie is the worldwide leader in personal and corporate training with more than 11 million graduates in 80 countries. Specializing in effective communications, leadership & sales training, public speaking, & executive coaching. Steve is ranked the #1 trainer for The Dale Carnegie Sales Advantage and Leadership Training programs. This stands as evidence that Steve knows how to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life. Steve is also accomplished in building successful teams. He has led teams that have managed licensing & business development efforts for 1,200 new products which impacted more than jobs. Steve knows how to grow businesses, get people to work and expand the economy. Steve gained his business experience at well-known companies such as Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, Kimberly-Clark, & Marvel Entertainment. Before becoming CEO at Dale Carnegie, he worked his way up to company president of Riddell Sports, the manufacturer of Packer football helmets. While on Football Scholarship, Steve earned his BA and Master’s of Management from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business. He was selected as Captain, Outstanding Leader, Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All American Honorable Mention.
