About Steve Brower

Born and raised a Catholic, it wasn’t until his mid-thirties that Steve Brower had an eye-opening and eternity-altering experience with the Lord. It was the mid eighties and he heard the Word preached with excitement and revelation for the first time. Steve got saved and has never been the same since then. Steve was raised up in the things of God by Pastor Dan Cotrone at the Village of Faith Church in Farmingville, NY. Only months after being radically saved, Steve began ministering to the poor through “Operation Oasis”, and a year or so later he founded “Free Indeed”, a ministry to those bound by addictions and compulsions. Ordained along with his wife Roseann at the Village of Faith in September of 1994, they set out and established Christ the Redeemer Church in Shirley/Manorville, NY in 1995. As the founders and Senior Pastors there, they built and nurtured that work for ten years, until October of 2005. They were installed as the Senior Pastors of Word of Life Ministries in Freeport, NY in October of 2005, and for eight years they increased and supervised an organization consisting of over 50 ministries. Pastor Steve has travelled to Israel, and also ministered in Uganda, Africa, both in a Pastors Conference and out in the villages surrounding Kampala. He has also served on the Mayors Clergy Council, as the Chairman of the Freeport Clergy Council, and as the head of the Long Island Regional Pastors and Leaders. Steve and Roseann are now serving as the Pastors of Faith & Victory Fellowship, begun in December 2013, and presently located in Freeport, NY. Having a heart for young people, and for the lost, brokenhearted, battered, bruised, they are expecting to impact multitudes of lives with the Love and with the Word of Jesus Christ.
