Growing up immersed in emergencies and disasters, frequently seeing my dad deployed to disasters around the world, I developed a passion for resilience from an early age. Now, with over a decade of experience in the resilience profession, I have refined my expertise in emergency planning and business continuity management, enabling organisations to not only withstand disruptions but also thrive in the face of adversity As a progressive and forward-thinking manager and leader, I am committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. I believe that resilience is not just about bouncing back, but about bouncing forward—using challenges as opportunities to enhance practices and drive positive change. My dedication to this field has been recognised with several awards, and I have had the privilege of contributing to local, regional, and national working groups, where I collaborate with like-minded professionals to shape the future of resilience. When not working i'm having fun with my family, exercising, playing cricket, enjoying holidays on the Cornish and Devon coast, or raising money for some fantastic charities such as Surfers Against Sewage and The Wave Project.
