About Steve Nguyen

I have completed a bachelor degree from the University of Canberra in Commerce, specialising in International Business and Human Resource Management. Along with this, also holds a Certificate 4 in Business. As SYPAQ’s Practice Lead, I provide oversight and support to our Enterprise & Government customers, consultants and internal corporate staff on a national level. Acting as a trusted advisor and service delivery manager, I accompany customers as they evolve by identifying needs and providing collaborative expert advice. I have a deep understanding of the ICT market and aligns skills, knowledge and attitudes of SYPAQ’s specialists to customer needs. I use my experience to enhance business capability and capacity in line with emergent risks and opportunities. My experience and expertise on delivery of projects includes Client Engagement, IT Management, Telecommunications, Project Management, Business Analysis and Testing. I have a very strong understanding of consulting for organisational management, implementing and using technology for business improvement. I am a certified Security Officer for SYPAQ, under SYPAQ’s Defence Industry Security Programme (DISP) accreditation. I play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of both physical assets and sensitive information to ensure compliance with security standards to Australian Defence policies (Defence Security Principles Framework) and Government operations. I am the key contact for managing and maintaining compliance of SYPAQ’s accredited Zone 3 in the ACT office. I have also worked in the research and data analysis area of employment for the Australian Government where he developed his analysis and communications skills. This has allowed me to learn, communicate and manage a range of stakeholders with diverse personalities and backgrounds. Steve Nguyen
