Background

About Steven Busekros

I am a teacher and a motivator. I work with the public helping people and assessing their needs. I have developed and taught creative and interactive lesson plans for Social Studies, History, Geography, Science, Math, Economics, and Language Arts for culturally and economically diverse student populations. I believe in the role of facilitator to encourage learning. Students need to be involved with hands-on activities that actively motivate them. I really enjoy being able to pass on my knowledge and experiences for others. I love to motivate students to think for themselves allowing them to grow and create. I have maintained an inclusive classroom for students of all needs and ability levels. I have regularly attended professional development activities to keep myself updated on instruction, modification, testing, and technologies. I look forward to continuing my personal and professional growth. I have a Masters in Education, but I also want to attain a Masters and Doctorate in my field of study as well. I have attended Laredo-Taft Camp with students, coached track and intramurals, and oversaw the school's Earth's Birthday Party. I am currently substituting for Lincoln-Way School District 210.
