About Stuart Cottrell

Having served 10 years for HM Forces in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers I am highly trained in an engineering and logistical roles. I am smart, punctual, willing, keen to learn, eager to improve, fit, highly motivated as would be expected of an ex soldier. I have unique leadership skills, highly developed communication and social skills, unrivaled health and safety training and perform well under pressure both part of and leading a team. During my time spent in the military I was responsible for the health, safety and welfare of my junior tradesmen as well as being proactive towards their development and career management. I boast a good sense of humor and encourage a work hard play hard mentality within the team I am either part of or leading which I believe is the key to achieving results which I always deliver. I have proven motivational skills developed whilst serving in the military and excellent interpersonal skills having served in several hostile environments having been trained to defuse situations. I am now looking to follow on my fields of expertise with a more permanent position but I am still willing to work away from home.
