Retail Banker turned Researcher & Marketeer. I jumped into the Internet in 1994 helping develop several world firsts from commercialisation of MP3 downloads to BarclaySquare, the award winning online mall - years before Amazon adopted the same model. During the recession I raised £2.2m in VC to establish an online incubator which morphed into a full service web agency. After negotiating the acquisition of Click & Build (in 2004 from Natwest), Cyrane Merchant Server (in 2005), and netcallidus SEO (from its investors in 2007) I was part of a leveraged buy-out of netcallidus in 2008. This business was subsequently sold to quoted PLC DotMailer in 2009-2010. After completing a 2 year consultancy with dotmailer, Seriously Helpful was established in 2012 as an employee owned, boutique, carbon-neutral SEO & Social Media Agency for SME's where we typically double our clients online businesses every three years.
