About Stuart MacNeil

Extensive experience in international organisations and relief agencies in the Ukraine, Western Balkans, including the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). I combine in depth expertise in development, particularly in local governance and emergency relief programs, with extensive project and program management experience. Set up and managed a number of international multi-stakeholder partnership programs in the areas of business creation, social entrepreneurship and capacity building. These were centered on economic development and communities affairs programs that developed community ties with civic and governmental groups; managed large budgets of $20 million and used the logical framework approach and results based project cycle management. A strong emphasis was always placed on monitoring and reporting on all activities to ensure a flow of information amongst all stakeholders, as well as to create mechanism for reliable evaluation of our work. I am experienced in managing and motivating local and international staff and believe in the importance of maintaining lasting relationships with local partners in a dynamic multicultural environment.
