About Stuart Wright

Stuart is the Associate Vice President, P&C Litigation at Co-operators Insurance. He was previously Vice President and National Director of the Legal and Research Practice Group at Aon. He also spent 17 years as a Manager, consultant and counsel in the Claims Legal department at Intact Insurance in Toronto. Between and 2004, he articled and practiced at Lerners LLP in the Insurance Defence Group. He was called in February 2002 and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in Stuart has practiced in all areas of insurance defence litigation with a focus on CGL, property, professional E&O, municipal defence and motor vehicle accident tort claims. He has appeared at all levels of courts in Ontario and several administrative tribunals. At Co-operators, Stuart will begin staffing the newly opened in-house Claims Litigation department in the Toronto area and in Ottawa. Outside the office, Stuart spends time with his four children at hockey rinks across the GTA. He also plays hockey for anyone who is looking for a goalie.
