About Subin Mohan

UBC MBA'23 During the course of my MBA term, I have done consulting project for a sustainability initiative company based out of Vancouver called Reusables, for whom my team created a growth strategy and business sustenance model for their future operations and possible markets. I was also in a team, consulting for Madrid Futuro, a Madrid based consulting firm. This project had to deal with cultivating Madrid as a life-sciences hub which included researching successful hubs around the world and building a recommendation of best practices which can pave the path for Madrid's development. Till recently, I have been working with Lorval Capital Management as a Business Analyst. During this period, I was reporting directly to the President and CEO of the company. I was leading projects that dealt with process capability mapping, OEE designing and continuous improvement strategies for different manufacturing units under the companies portfolio. I have successfully designed OEE models for the business tracking for Glass Fabrication Unit and Aluminum Extrusion Units. ERP data gaps were also identified to improve the process in view of the fast growth that the company is expecting. In my experience before MBA, I was an Automation Engineer for 6 years in the Pulp and Paper industry, during which period, I was managing engineering activities regarding distributed control systems and also part of the continuous improvement team. Experienced in carrying out six-sigma projects and also TPM methodology implementation in workplace with good understanding of all the pillars in its lifecycle.
