About Susan Taber

Susan is an accomplished educational therapist, executive function coach, and school consultant. She has over 25 years'​ experience in the field of education and holds a Masters degree in Special Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Susan is the only Board Certified Educational Therapist in New England. She has developed strategies for award-winning software and co-authored books on innovative classroom teaching techniques. In addition, she has presented at national conferences, schools, parent groups, and community service organizations. Susan started Learning Strategies Unlimited as a way to reach out to children, adolescents, and adults by offering new perspectives on 'learning how to learn for life'. In addition to focusing her expertise on students in high school and college, she works with adults on reading, writing, and organizational support. Susan helps clients realize their fuller potential through direct strategy instruction, problem-solving, and effective approaches toward achieving their goals. During this process, her clients experience the added benefits of improved self-esteem, self-efficacy, and self-advocacy.
