About Susan Wang

I am driven by the vision of a more equitable and sustainable world where everyone can access opportunities and resources on a healthy and resilient planet. That’s why I joined Earth Security to build an innovative financing facility to mobilise blended capital for nature-based solutions at scale. I have a track record of creating investment strategies, originating and managing investments and building a team. Previously, I co-founded the impact investment function at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation in 2019, managing a USD $100m investment portfolio in climate, health, food & agriculture and serving on 10+ advisory or impact committees. I’m thrilled to support and scale impactful innovations and interventions. I have a strong background as an investor, a financial modeller, a research analyst, and a trainer of cutting-edge statistical models, programming languages, and analytics skills that I have self-learned on the job. I thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy speaking at webinars and events and love coaching and mentoring others. As the first person in my extended family to attend university and study abroad, I've learned so much from different cultures and perspectives. And, I am always looking forward to an insightful conversation. Feel free to contact me on LinkedIn- If you are NBS/mangroves developers or nature-positive businesses looking for funding or expanding your network - If I can be of any help
