With a PharmD degree from India and a Healthcare Administration and Service Management Certificate from Canada, I have unique clinical and administrative skills that enable me to contribute to the healthcare industry in various roles and settings. Most recently, I worked as a Safety and Pharmacovigilance Coordinator at Syneos Health, where I monitored and routed incoming information to the appropriate project, recorded and tracked adverse drug reactions and medication errors, assisted with file creation and maintenance, and managed the translation process for source documents. In performing these tasks, I demonstrated accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Previously, I gained valuable experience as a Hospital Pharmacist and a Doctor of Pharmacy Intern at Parul Sevashram Hospital, where I verified, dispensed, and counseled patients on medications, checked for drug and food interactions, reviewed patient profiles and records, and reported adverse drug reactions and medication errors. I also educated patients on COVID-19 prevention and treatment protocols and handled prescriptions for COVID-19 patients. In these roles, I developed strong interpersonal communication, pharmaceutics, and patient care skills. I am passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and quality of care for patients and communities, and I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to new challenges and opportunities in the healthcare sector.
