About Symrin Oad

Symrin has gained expertise and transferable skills during different administrative roles in the higher education industry. She is currently studying Doctor of Medicine at Monash University and she has possessed technical skills with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science focused on health sciences from Monash University. She provides support in different areas of Monash University as an administrative staff who is results-driven and a strong professional trained in Customer Service, Google suite, Microsoft Office, Teamwork, Leadership and Management. In 2019, Symrin volunteered in the Access Monash Mentoring Program at Monash University for a year. In the program, she assisted and mentored the young adults, mainly Year 11 & 12 students, in the underprivileged schools to guide them towards achieving their academic goals. Through this, she strengthened communication and mentoring skills. Symrin aims to use her skills and experience to contribute to a health sector in Australia and different roles while studying at Monash. Furthermore, she is also interested in gaining additional skills that will support her in career growth. Symrin has a flexible and tenacious personality that leads by example, has excellent communication skills and is decisive and results-oriented.
