Background
About Synthia Saint James
At Atelier Synthia SAINT JAMES, my artistic journey weaves multicultural narratives through vibrant visual art, inspiring a global audience. With over five decades of dedication, I've become a conduit for cultural expression, sharing my work from gallery walls to the pages of renowned publications. As a public speaker and educator, I engage audiences with compelling storytelling, transforming public speaking into an art form that educates and empowers. My role encompasses not only the creation of art but also the design of impactful public works and the authoring of literature that celebrates diversity. My designs have been commemorated on postage stamps, adorning over 318 million Kwanzaa stamps, and have been featured in United States Embassies worldwide. Through these ventures, my desire is to contribute to the cultural tapestry, championing inclusion and the richness of the African Diaspora.
