As Director of Workforce Strategies at the Calgary Construction Association (CCA), I lead workforce initiatives that support the long-term sustainability of Calgary's construction industry. My work includes managing K-12 career exploration programs and broader workforce strategies designed to address labor market challenges and build a stronger, more connected talent pipeline. With a background in strategic planning and people strategies, I focus on aligning workforce initiatives with industry needs, collaborating closely with educators, community leaders, and construction partners to create meaningful engagement opportunities. Key Achievements- Led the development and expansion of CCA’s K-12 workforce portfolio, including the Honour the Work program, reaching students in its first year-Built partnerships with educational stakeholders such as TELUS Spark and multiple school divisions to expand career awareness in construction-Designed and implemented multi-year workforce strategies with a focus on early career engagement, industry collaboration, and long-term sustainability. I’m passionate about building connections between industry and education, addressing workforce gaps, and creating pathways that support Alberta’s next generation of skilled trades professionals.
