My expertise lies in cardiology and I serve as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in this area providing specialized care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. Additionally I am responsible for the management of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program training and mentoring future pharmacy professionals. With over a decade of experience in the pharmacy industry I have developed and implemented innovative programs and models that have significantly improved patient outcomes and reduced hospital readmissions. One such program is the heart failure transitions of care model which I developed in collaboration with nursing teams. Through this model we have been able to reduce hospital readmissions and improve patient outcomes. My contributions to the field of pharmacy are not limited to my clinical work. I have published more than 10 journal articles and presented more than 20 conference abstracts and poster presentations contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and expertise in the field. I have also peer-reviewed more than 20 articles demonstrating my expertise and contributing to the advancement of the field of pharmacy.
