About Tara Benson

I have always been interested in the events industry ever since I was posed the question of “what do you want to be when you are older”. During my final years at high school I decided to test the waters within the events industry that intrigued me so much. I started work experience for the events team at the City of Mandurah, which lead to me being employed for two years in the position of Events Support. Not only did this work experience result in a job offer but it also confirmed that events is definitely what I wanted to do and gave me the push to choose it as my university major. In 2020 I graduated from Edith Cowan University with a double major of event management and marketing. Half way through 2020 I started work at Synergy as the Sponsorship and Events Coordinator. I love working on all of Synergy’s diverse and interesting campaigns. Outside of my 9-5, I work at Optus Stadium as a customer service attendant/staff hub duty manager. I absolutely love working at Optus Stadium and being a part of the biggest events in Western Australia.
