Background
About Tara Reed
I'm a self-taught artist with a degree in Marketing and a passion for creativity. After initially designing in the scrapbooking industry I discovered the broader business of art licensing and found it to be a great fit for my talents and interests. I love the challenge of creating art that helps a business create products that consumers love (and purchase). I'm currently focused on fabric design with Riley Blake Designs and building a YouTube channel to share my love of easy sewing projects as well as sewing and quilting for beginners. Over the past 22 years I've licensed my work on a variety of products - everything from flags to fabric, wall decor to welcome mats, tabletop, kitchen textiles, greeting cards and more. My art and design can be found in stores and online worldwide. I paint with watercolors in bold colors in both traditional & whimsical styles and love to incorporate humor into my work.
