Background

About Tavish Hestermann

I have always had a natural fondness for dealing with people. I am a lover of people and a relationship builder at heart. Even with new connections, I have the ability to win them over in my approach with a great first impression. This is a strength of mine that I use everyday, especially for my job being an Educational Consultant as well as a Student Leader with a company called Southwestern Advantage. This past summer I was able to knock on doors, communicate with over families, and help out family's educational situations with the resources we offered. I was able to succeed this summer selling educational books, websites, and apps due to my communication skills, my ability to be personable, and by always being enthusiastic. I had the opportunity to practice finding a need and a solution to that need for many individuals of different backgrounds. I succeeded enough that the company sees potential in my sales abilities and asked me back for a second year! Now I get to recruit and bring my own team next summer, and develop skills for running a team. I have many aspirations of being a traveling salesman and doing a service to people. I will be working as an educational consultant these next few summers, but I am always open for opportunity! Gallup Strengths Finder: Includer, Harmony, Restorative, Woo, and Consistency
