About Taylor Galbraith

Taylor works in the WSP hydrogeology group in Calgary, AB and has her P.Eng status in both Alberta and British Columbia. Taylor is looked to as a leader in the group, providing mentorship and direction to junior and intermediate staff. Taylor manages projects that deal with complex hydrogeological issues, from organizing and directing field programs to technical analysis and reporting. Most of Taylor's experience is working with clients in the oilsands and mining sectors, although she also has international and municipal/construction based hydrogeology experience. Taylor's experience is primarily focused on designing and implementing programs to create conceptual hydrogeological models of sites through desktop studies and field programs (drilling/installation/design of groundwater monitoring and pumping wells, aquifer testing including pumping tests, slug testing, injection tests and packer tests, groundwater sampling). Taylor has spent a considerable amount of time in the field/directing large field programs and knows the importance of being able to communicate with a wide range of people with different backgrounds and experience. This experience has also strengthened her commitment to safety and quality work on site. Now that Taylor's work is primarily office-based, she has an enhanced understanding of how programs are implemented on site which makes the reporting and analysis of the data more meaningful.
