About Ted Suihkonen

I grew up in Northern Minnesota where I played for the Duluth East Greyhounds, before heading off to the Lincoln Stars of the USHL. Having won the MN State HS Championship and the Clark Cup Championship (USHL) I later accepted a Division 1 scholarship in the WCHA and played for the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves, before turning pro. After my playing days were completed, I ventured into the world of coaching in 2004 back in Alaska where his teams won a couple State Championships before heading to Europe to coach in 2008.
