About Teresa James

Teresa is an experienced Manager and a Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI) with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), a Fellow of the Women's Engineering Society and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT). She has worked in local government for over 25 years covering services including highways, infrastructure, environmental management and policy, FCERM, climate change, mitigation and adaptation, energy management, sustainability and economic development. She has extensive experience of strategic & operational strategy and policy, programme & project management, budget management, funding bids, account management, delivery of change, transformation and efficiency initiatives, partnership working, stakeholder engagement, business planning, operations management, business and service improvement. Teresa has a BA (Hons) in Urban Policy and Race Relations - University of Lancaster and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management - University of Lincoln. Teresa has a Level 5 in Business Resilience with the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs and an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 in Coaching and Mentoring in Management. She is also an Associate Member of the following professional bodies: IOEE, ILM, RTPI, EMCC and LARIA
