Due to my strong work ethics and my sound judgement, I was regularly assigned remote location responsibilities where I interacted with clients and third-party contractors to achieve successful outcomes. My technical expertise and general knowledge allowed me to operate independently with minimal support. I have both off shore and land operational experience in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, and Canada. My experience includes deep and shallow water rigs, inland barges, land rigs, full bore operations, and pumping through coil tubing. While the experiences mentioned above may be specific to the oil & gas industry, it exposed me to a vast array of mechanical, electronic and process equipment and systems. Not to mention a variety of working environments and exposure to different cultures and ethnic groups. I have received extensive safety training and completed a variety of professional development courses through my previous employer. This combined with my ability and desire to quickly learn new theory and practice provides me with a rich background of transferrable skills and talents. I am proficient with Microsoft office software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook. Have excellent communication skills and am comfortable working either solo or as a team. Being able to calmly focus on the details while keeping the big picture in mind helps me to prioritize tasks to get assigned projects done efficiently. I am good at resolving issues and enjoy planning and executing projects to a successful outcome. Here are some of my past career achievements. • Completed construction of our facility at a client’s remote location and established operating procedures for the facility and location. During the seven years as lead supervisor at this particular location we had no HSE (injuries, spills, equipment damage) or significant service quality related incidents due to planning or operation. • Rebuilt positive relations with client and third-party contractors on a second remote location assignment. • Frequently identified minor discrepancies that could have led to catastrophic equipment failure. By finding and mitigating these issues early repair cost were reduced and potential job failure avoided. • Found creative sustainability practices to routinely operated under our allotted annual budget for consumable parts and general supplies. • Received several client safety awards for proactive safety and operational improvements on location.
