About Thierry Colin

OPEN FOR NEW CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES Project & technical team leader with a varied experience in technological development, technology transfer, process engineering and production ramp-up. I am presently working as expert in charge of development and engineering of a new semiconcductor device for SWIR imaging. I have been previously working as process developper and team leader in a spinoff and in various R&D centres. I developed my technical expertise in process development and control for fabrication of sensors and other electro-optical devices for high-end applications (defence, aerospace and industrial imaging). I gained also, a relevant experience in technical project management, subcontracting, quality assurance (ISO 9001), PLM implementation as well as in management of technical teams. I have been working in project management for the European Commission, supervising evaluation of project proposals, grants preparation and monitoring of EU-funded projects on organisational, financial and legal aspects on a portfolio of more than 50 projects. Creative, but rigorous, application-minded and result driven, I am empathic in my interpersonal contacts, and like participating in effective teams based on trustful relationships.
