SELECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Created ACT tutorial class for students in need of concurrent scores for graduation requirement. • Restructured school writing program to better reflect state testing expectations. • Developed Common Core standards-based hybrid learning model. • Instituted a mandatory “Math Lab” and “Science Lab” for low level and struggling students within testing cohort. • Organized school’s classes and labs to maximize student engagement and take advantage of differentiated learning. • Restructured instructional focus calendars to better align with standards within Common Core. • Oversaw the opening of four new schools and facilitated an 80-hour “new employee” training at each. • Developed a program to establish peer learning opportunities within the school. • Implemented a “whole school” learning environment that will stress important learning goals and enable each staff member to be involved in the process. • Evaluated and modified school attendance and tardy policy to increase the school retention and graduation rate. • Trained, mentored, and promoted four teachers to Assistant Principal positions.
