About Tim Beal

I was the kid who bought my own day planner in high school.for fun! I've been organizing projects and finding more efficient ways of doing things ever since. I spent the first 10 years of my professional life planning events and mentoring teenagers in the local church context. I've been involved at both the national and local level in leading youth worker networks that developed strategic partnerships and shared resources across organizations to connect with middle school and high school students. More recently, I've used my project management and data analysis skills as a control room operator at a natural gas power plant in Eastern Oregon. I've built a reputation of being a trustworthy leader who pays attention to details and is capable of learning new skills quickly. I've organized EPA audits, developed over 25 safety procedures, and helped shape the environmental and compliance policies at our facility. I stepped back into ministry in 2015 and have held a number of roles at New Hope Community Church including Pastor of Student Ministries, Pastor of Family Ministries, and currently, Executive Pastor. Whether I'm working with people or analyzing the trends and data, I'm constantly challenging myself to grow and learn new skills. In Hermiston you can find me outdoors on a run, a bike ride, or heading into the mountains to explore.
