About Tim Dein

My goals include identifying HR education & training needs in businesses in NSW, & implementing solutions, especially relating to workforce planning. I am passionate about effective vocational education & training. I am an educational researcher with extensive experience over 16 years in developing curricula, delivery and assessment options for the Human Resource, OH & S and Training & Assessment areas. I had a strong PD focus to ensure HR teachers were up to date in both new HR courses and in developments in the HR profession. As AHRI NSW President and AHRI Services Board Director in 2006 and 2007, I participated in the process of purchasing back AHRI for its members. Member of AHRI NSW Council 2001-2011. I have been an AHRI Mentor continuously since 2011and judge for AHRI national awards 2007 to 2011 Specialties: Assisting organisations in their workforce planning, developing Human Resource, WH & S, Training and Assessment delivery and assessment options, conducting professional development, advising senior management of options. Presenter, teacher and lecturer in VET and Higher Education Detailed understanding of national VET sector, especially in HRM qualifications and competencies and interest into their linkage to university HRM programs
