About Tim Mosley

I work in the field of Conservation and Energy Management. Team Lead, Innovation Research and Trials at BC Hydro. I work on the identification and testing of new technologies and services that help our customers manage their energy use. My team are currently looking at systems, products and services that relate to; home automation, AI, live energy usage feedback, Energy Storage, Solar PV and Solar Thermal, Heat Pumps, HVAC technologies and EV/Home Energy management systems, service upgrade avoidance strategies and demand response technologies. The innovation team supports; residential, commercial and industrial customers across all end use technologies and utility DSM services. The sole intent is to provide better energy management tools for the 4 million customers of BC Hydro. Tools for; Decarbonization, Capacity Management and Energy Conservation/Bill management. I have also developed financing solutions and programs for our customers. In addition to the 3rd party financing offers currently in market I have also developed a number of tools and guidelines for the operation of Green Revolving Funds and have been running a multi-million dollar GRF program in the healthcare sector.
